Lemon Rice is a delicious South Indian
dish. Now its lovable by all our the world. Lemon Rice Recipe is a quick and

Ingredients:

2 cup basmati rice
·
2 tbsp oil
·
3 spoons lemon rice
·
2 dried chilies
·
¼ tbsp asafetida(hing)
·
1 tbsp split black gram (dhuli urad dal)
·
1 Bengal gram
(chana dal)
·
½ spoon fenugreek seeds
·
1 tbsp mustard seeds
·
½ peanuts
·
15-20 curry leaves
·
¼ tbsp turmeric powder
·
1 tbsp fresh coriander, chop it while using
·
salt acc. to taste
Method:
·
Take basmati rice and wash it properly, and soak
in water for 40-50 mins.
·
After soaking the rice wash it once again.
·
Put the rice in microwave safe bowl with three
cups of water.
·
Cover the bowl and pierced with holes to escape
of steam.
·
Place the bowl in microwave for 14mints at 900w
for at least 10 to 14mins.
·
Take the rice out of bowl and and leave it for some time to be cool in a plate.
·
Put oil in microwave safe bowl.
·
Add asafetida (hing), red chilies broke it in half,
and add urad dal, chana dal and methi Dana.
·
Cook it for 3 to4 mins, uncoverd. At 900w and
urad dal should be light brown.
·
Stir peanuts, also add mustard seeds, curry
leaves and turmeric powder.
·
Cook it uncovered at 900w for 2 minutes.
·
Mix the mixtures in rice in microwave safe bowl.
·
Add salt according to taste and lemon juice.
·
Cook the rice, uncovered at 450w for 2 to3mins.
·
Garnish the rice with fresh coriander and serve
it hot.
